📰 지역과 함께하는 따뜻한 민화축제 – 명지대학교 K민화 작가들의 아름다운 동행
또 하나의 의미 있는 준비가 시작됐다.
명지대학교 전문대 도서관이 지역주민과 함께하는 문화행사를 마련하며, 그 속에 ‘민화전’을 담게 된다.
이번 전시에는 K민화, 전통민화, K민화마스터반 등 약 50여 명의 작가들이 참여할 예정이다. 참여 작가들은 현재 도록 이미지를 정성껏 준비하며, 서로의 작품을 응원하고 격려하는 따뜻한 분위기 속에서 전시를 준비하고 있다.
“우리의 작품이 완벽하지는 않아도, 서로에게 박수를 보내고 웃음으로 응원하는 과정이 참 소중합니다.”
이 말처럼, K민화 수업 과정은 언제나 웃음과 칭찬이 넘치는 공간이다.
이번 행사를 준비하는 박인숙 관계자 역시 K민화 작가로서, 지역과 예술을 잇는 다리 역할을 맡고 있다.
그녀와 작가들은 “도서관을 찾는 모든 이들에게 민화로 따뜻함과 복을 전하고 싶다”고 전했다.
다가올 그날이 유난히 기다려지는 이유는 아마도,
민화가 지닌 ‘행복을 전하는 그림’의 마음이 우리 모두에게 전해지고 있기 때문일 것이다.
민화로 하나 되는 지역문화의 향연, 그 설레는 준비가 오늘도 쉼 없이 이어지고 있다.
📰 A Warm Folk Painting Festival with the Community — The Beautiful Collaboration of Myongji University K-Minhwa Artists
Another meaningful preparation is underway.
Myongji University’s College Library is organizing a local community cultural event, and this time, it will include a special Minhwa (Korean folk painting) exhibition.
About 50 artists from various programs — including K-Minhwa, Traditional Minhwa, and the K-Minhwa Master Class — are expected to participate. The artists are now preparing their catalog images with care, supporting and encouraging one another in a warm and joyful atmosphere.
“Our works may not be perfect, but we always applaud each other’s efforts and fill our classes with smiles and encouragement.”
This spirit perfectly reflects the K-Minhwa program — a place where laughter and appreciation abound.
Ms. Park In-sook, one of the organizers and also a K-Minhwa artist herself, is taking the lead in connecting art with the local community. She expressed her wish “to embrace everyone who visits the library with the warmth and blessings that Minhwa conveys.”
Perhaps the reason this day feels so exciting and full of anticipation
is because each Minhwa painting carries the heartfelt wish for happiness and good fortune.
