강원도 영월에서 울린 “심봤다!” – 명지대 미래교육원 문화콘텐츠과 약초 수업 현장
강원도 영월, 척박한 땅에서도 자연의 선물을 찾아 나서는 명지대학교 미래교육원 문화콘텐츠과 신약초1·신약초2 과정 학생들의 현장 수업이 열렸다.
산삼감정사반과 심마지약초사행반 학생들은 실제 산야에서 식물과 약초를 탐색하며, 뜻밖의 발견에 “심봤다!”를 외쳐 현장을 가득 웃음으로 채웠다.
매번 있는 일은 아니지만, 학생들이 산삼과 각종 약초를 찾아내는 즐거움은 현장에 참여한 모두에게 생동감을 선사했다. 가을로 접어드는 지금, 버섯과 자연이 얼마나 풍성하게 이들을 맞이할지, 다음 수업 여정이 더욱 기대되는 순간이었다.
명지대학교 미래교육원의 약초 수업은 이처럼 실습과 발견, 그리고 즐거움이 어우러진 현장 중심 교육으로 학생들에게 잊지 못할 경험을 제공하고 있다.
“Found It!” in Yeongwol, Gangwon-do – Hands-On Herbal Class at Myongji University
In Yeongwol, Gangwon-do, a region known for its rugged terrain, students of the Herbal Studies 1 and 2 courses at Myongji University’s Future Education Center for Cultural Contents embarked on an exciting field lesson.
Members of the Ginseng Appraisal and Wild Herb Exploration classes ventured into the mountains and forests, seeking plants and medicinal herbs. At the moment of discovery, they joyfully exclaimed, “Found it!” bringing smiles and energy to everyone present.
Though such finds do not occur every time, the thrill of discovering ginseng and other herbs made the experience lively and memorable. As autumn unfolds, students eagerly anticipate what mushrooms and other natural treasures the next field class will reveal.
Through hands-on exploration, Myongji University’s herbal courses provide students with an immersive learning experience that combines practical skills, discovery, and joy.
