대한민국 국회문화예술 초대전에 올해로 세 번째 발걸음을 내딛는다.
이 길은 언제나 설렘으로 시작해, 전통과 현재가 어우러지는 감동으로 마무리된다.
이번 전시는 특히 뜻깊다. 우리 학교 K민화 작가 20명의 선생님들과 함께,
한민족의 색과 선을 품은 민화의 힘을 국회라는 특별한 공간에서 펼쳐 보이기 때문이다.
K민화는 단순히 옛 그림의 재현이 아니다.
오랜 시간 이어온 우리 고유의 미감을 현대적 감각으로 새롭게 풀어내며
삶을 담아내는 살아있는 예술이다.
저마다의 붓끝에서 태어난 작품들은
전통의 숨결을 이어가면서도 오늘의 이야기를 담았다.
그 다양성과 깊이는 곧 우리의 문화와 정신의 확장이다.
이번 초대전은 함께 걷는 길의 의미를 다시금 확인하는 자리이자,
민화가 세대를 넘어 미래로 나아가는 확신의 무대가 되리라 믿는다.

This marks my third year participating in the National Assembly Culture & Arts Invitational Exhibition.
Each visit begins with anticipation and concludes with the profound emotion of witnessing tradition and the present harmoniously intertwined.
This year’s exhibition carries special meaning. Together with 20 K-Minhwa artists from our university,
we are honored to present the power and beauty of Korean folk painting—Minhwa—within the distinguished halls of the National Assembly.
K-Minhwa is more than a mere reproduction of the past.
It is a living art form, breathing new life into our unique aesthetics while expressing the stories of contemporary life.
From the tip of each artist’s brush emerge works that preserve the breath of tradition
yet speak vividly of today. Their diversity and depth reflect the richness of our culture and spirit.
I believe this invitational exhibition will reaffirm the significance of walking this path together
and stand as a confident stage for Minhwa to transcend generations and step into the future.
